Road to the ZOWIE Gamestah Overwatch League Finals: Orbit.gg

Orbit.GG will have breathed a sigh of relief after qualifying eighth in the league after a poor final performance in Week 5. However, thanks to consistent performances in weeks one through four they had built up enough points to secure enough of a margin over Coin Flip and B1G to make it through as the final qualifier.

We spoke to Daft, Captain of the Orbit Overwatch team, about their run up to the finals, and he had this to say about their performance:

“Orbit’s run in the Zowie league has established us with a deserved place in the finals, securing wins in the weeklies over other top 8 teams, but with our lack of practice on the new patch in the last week not qualifying for playoffs has hurt our seeding into the finals.”

In their first match they will be going up against Untitled Spreadsheet, who, for quite some time, were unbeaten in the ANZ region. USS stumbled last week against the Chiefs but will not doubt put in the preparation required to recover from that loss. Orbit will have their work cut out to take out the first seed!

Orbit’s Quarter Final match against Untitled Spreadsheet takes place at 14:30 AEST on twitch.tv/gamestahtv1.
