Sydney Gamers League (SGL)

With a new venue and increased capacity for the event, SGL kicked off its 2012 schedule with SGL6 LAN of Thrones.  A sell out to kick off the year was always going to be a given with over $10000 in prizes on offer.

The coverage was huge and way to many matches to list them all here. But we do have some selected highlights. Games covered include Starcraft2, Call of Duty 4, Quake Live, League of Legends, Heroes of Newerth, and Team Fortress 2. Commentators for the event included Arseynimz, B-ray, Speardave, Ivo, Neeber, Superroach, C-rad, Kitfox, and  Pastrytime, with guests LiviBee, CheekyDuck commentating SC2 as only two sisters can.

The CGo Grand Final gets played finally after a delay for the end of the year and server issues on the first attempt at playing it. The match starts off large with the action heating up as both teams look to pick up the CGo title!
