This weekend the Gamestah LAN teams are out in force to cover the Australian and Singapore gaming Scenes. LANs are being run almost every week across Australia and if you have not been to one, then start checking them out.  Cybergamer  http://www.cybergamer.com.au/ regularly have LAN events listed in the upcoming events announcements. Get out of the house and meet up with the teams and players you know from the ladders and matches you play in. And have a shot at winning some outstanding prizes along the way.

This weekend Gamestah are attending three great events. First up in Brisbane we have

Good Gaming Fun (GGF) LAN.

Headed up by a Call of Duty 5 v 5 competition, we are seeing player flying in from as far away as New Zealand to compete. So expect some fierce action. There are a range of other competitions, so make sure to check the website for details. There will be a spectator area at the event again, with seating, a big screen and Gamestah commentary,  to bring all the action from the LAN floor to the audience. So if you’re in the Brisbane area, come on down and watch some gaming action.

Commentators for the LAN include Ej, BoB, DaMan and B-ray.

And in Sydney,  Neeber will be pumping out some Counter Strike and Dota action from:

The Frequency

And finally for something completely different we have some wonderful RPG action.

Dragons Nest PvP exhibition

If fireballs and daggers are your sort of thing, then this Saturday we have something special for you. Arseynimz will be Singapore to commentate the Dragons Nest PvP event.  As details of any live streams come to hand, we will make sure you’re informed.  The sheer entertainment factor of Arsey and RPG action will be worth the price of admission alone.

Ohh and did I hear the words Wizard and Aresy in the same sentence…….?

Meanwhile check out some of the action on Drangons Nest TV (hopefully where you will hear Arsey of Saturday)

And don’t forget to keep an eye on the Sydney Gamers League webpage as more news on their 2012 events comes to hand. If you have not been to an SGL, you have not been LAN gaming. Huge prize pools, superstars of gaming competing, and more Gamestah coverage than you can poke a stick at.
