The first season of the GameArena Day of Defeat: Source is ready to be wrapped up, with only four teams left - Don't Talk To Us, Bushmasters, ^NAVY^ and teamDown.
Teams have fought hard in the leadup to the semis, with several upsets and unexpected results. Team uR!, who many were picking to go through to the finals, were knocked out of the competition last week due to an unexpected violation of the GA ladder rules thereby allowing teamDown a reprieve and a spot in the semi-finals. ^NAVY^ have steamrolled their way to the finals, smashing all in their path, including toppling the 1.3 DoD giant, DoD Alcoholics Anonymous.

The community is now poised on the outcome of the next two matches which will expose who will come out on top. Bushmasters and Don’t Talk to Us are favourites to be matched against each other in the finals, but Bushmasters must take on the juggernaut that is ^NAVY^ in order to get there. Will ^NAVY^ , the powerhouse team that crawled for the bottom of the ladder to contend with the best, topple the indomitable Bushmasters? Will Don’t Talk to Us, one of the only teams in the ladder to remain undefeated throughout the entire season, fall to Team Down!, who pushed through to the semis because of an upsetting forfeit?
