Format:

We’ll be following the same format as we did during both online qualifiers. There will be 2 groups of 4 teams with the top 2 teams from each group progressing through to Bo3 single elimination finals.
For group stages teams will knife for sides.

Bo3 Finals Format

Of the 5 maps to chose from each team can eliminate one. Both teams then knife to decide who picks first map, then knife for sides and we proceed as normal. The losing team from the first knife will then pick the 2nd map, leaving only 1 more map if its needed as a decider.

Teams have been divided into groups of 4. The top 2 teams from each group will proceed to a 8 team Bo3 single elimination finals bracket. The finals bracket will become active as soon as group stages are completed.

The Event

The finals will be played on the latest Gigabyte & Intel powered gaming machines featuring Intel’s Core i7 950 processors and Gigabyte’s X58-UD3R motherboards and GTX460 video cards.

1st Place - $2750 AUD
2nd Place - $1150 AUD
3rd Place - $600 AUD

Due to a team withdrawing we have put the $500AUD flight money back into the prize pool.
