1000+ gamers to converge for 5th Reloaded LAN party

South Australia will launch the New Year with one of Australia’s largest video gaming events in the western suburbs of Adelaide on January 16th.

Reloaded is Australia’s largest LAN Party event. More than a thousand attendees from all over Australia are expected to compete in more than 30 competitions for more than $10,000 in cash and prizes.

Major competitions will include games such as Halo 3, Modern Warfare 2, and Counterstrike Source among many more tournaments on a wide variety of platforms, including PC, Xbox 360, Playstation and Nintendo.

While most attendees will bring their own gear to the venue, Reloaded also provides a large console area where people of all ages and backgrounds can try their hand at any of the competition. These range from the likes of Guitar Hero, to Streetfighter and Forza 3.

There are many more tournaments available over the two day event.

This is the fifth annual event in the Reloaded series, returning once again to St Clair Recreation Centre (Woodville, SA).

Reloaded is an all ages event, with security on hand at all times. Reloaded is proudly supported by Valhalla LAN Parties, AVCON and the South Australian Government.
