Gaming & Commentary History

Gaming for the most part of my life has been a recreational retreat from all the pressures of school and work life. The first game I played was Alex Kidd on Sega Master System at the age of 7 after getting it from my cousins who had “upgraded “ to the Mega Drive. The Mega Drive was my next console playing Sonic the hedgehog, and Street fighter. Again at age 12 and upgrade was necessary so the PlayStation one was purchased. The Tony Hawk series on PS1 was the series I was hooked on for many years to come and many button bashing furious outrages when my combo was broken.
The original Xbox was the next big console I bought at age 18 With Fifa Football Series being the 1 and only game being played till early hours of the mornings. The shear amazement that it was from Microsoft boggled my mind for years as I began to understand what computers were.

Coming Forward to 2007 while working as a I.T. network trainee and work mate mentioned to me a program called “Steam” this is where my PC gaming started Purchasing the Orange box and beginning to play Team Fortress 2. Playing on Public servers for a few months was the most fun I had had, But was there more?? As I drifted through the various public servers I found myself in a server that really caught my eye the ((THC)) Clan Server. While embarrassing myself asking stupid questions like “ Whats a Clan?,” , “Whats a Scrim?” I quickly wised up and applied to join as soon as I could. Once I was accepted in February 2008 I had a need to know all about competitive TF2. ((THC))'s Leader had become uninterested and Most players leaving I quickly put my hand up to take over the reigns in May 2008. ((THC)) or #harbingers are now strong as ever after being promoted to Div 1.

I heard my first Gamestah cast back when GA was king and 8v8 was the only format to play competitively. Speardave and Pandan were covering a GameArena cp_dustbowl match I listened to the cast while watching the demo and it brought a whole new feel to the game from then I was hooked, Bugging Speardave at every opportunity to cast one of my teams games. I finally got the courage to apply for gamestah and with help from all the TF2 casters and some others I am Now a very confident caster and absolutely love casting at every opportunity I get.
