Movie from the Vault: In our ongoing build up to the release of RTCW2, we again reach into the vault for some oldschool rtcw loving. http://www.gamestah.com/file/view/2765 Gamestah have recently updated their shoutcast request system. We have replaced the old school copy and paste in forums, with a modern, automatic system that is simple and easy to use. Arseynimz had this to say on an article he wrote on the Gamestah homepage. "The good dudes at Gamestah have been trying to make your life easier!! So now we've got a simple request system that you can use to request Gamestah to turn up to your match, and of course so you can GET SOME! Up on the right hand side of your menu bar, blaring out in bright red awesomeness is the new "Request" button. Once you click this button, you'll be taken over to the flash new entry page which has nice drop down boxes, and all the important info we here at Gamestah will need to rock up to your match. Once you've clicked through to the "Request" page you can see all the games currently requested, and of course, if yours isn't up there make sure you check the front page because we might already be on our way there, and have it scheduled! Next thing is to make sure you enter as much detail as possible, and add a hyperlink to your war if one is available for the forum thread or match page. Once you've pushed the Send Request button, just check back on the request page to make sure your request is showing. it's highly unlikely it won't be, but then we don't want you to miss out!" Gamestah has also introduced a comments section on all of the Gamestah shoutcasts! So drop by and comment on your own matches, and also other matches that you have listened to! This week we saw our very own Sensuki team up with Bashandslash! This week's Call of Duty strat show takes us all the way to Australia! We have on Oz legend Jordan aka "Sensuki" who brings us the demo of his ad-hoc "all-star" team OverRated going up against the Aussie-juggernaut Team Immunity on mp_strike way back in the CGI Season 3 semi-final (October 08). The game was originally shoutcasted on Gamestah and that cast can be found here http://www.gamestah.com/file/view/1842 and has since become a classic. Team Immunity: Juzz, Beast (False), Obez (the sniper), Teek, Jor (Davjr) OverRated: Extacy, Phattz, Nancy (Jordan), MF, The One (backup sniper) http://bashandslash.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=654&Itemid=124 Company of Heroes makes it back into the spotlight this week. Gamestah have teamed up with Gamereplays www.gamereplays.org. The very first cast was the International Replay. The tanks came out and had a fair bit to say on Rails and Metal! With so much tanking going on, you thought these guys might have been playing World Of Warcraft, and with a couple of momentum changing moments, this match was an absolute cracker! http://www.gamestah.com/file/view/2762 Call of Duty 4 at CyberGamer is continuing to roll on. Some awesome matches have been getting played their, and Gamestah have been following one team very closely. Maybe because we are struck by their beauty ;) We speak of, none other than, Girls Gone Wild or ( . Y . ) They have had a bit of a bad start to their CyberGamer campaign, but are hoping that the third time is the charm. They take on Trepidation on mp_vacant were both teams were making some very solid shots and some awesome play alround. PB even decided to drop by and dominate the server from time to time. Two of the girls even stopped by after the match for an interview with Arsey and maC. http://www.gamestah.com/file/view/2751 Continuing up the ladder, Girls Gone Wild took on Good Bad Ugly once again on mp_vacant. The girls went mental and put an extremely solid 23-1 victory on the board. http://www.gamestah.com/file/view/2788 Its been long overdue, but finally we have some GameArena matches getting pumped out. The match of the week was an up and coming team called Roll the Dice. They have recently joined the ladder and immediately showed they had the good stuff, completely outclassing the Angry Face Gamers which resulted in a few lols. http://www.gamestah.com/file/view/2756 The first round of the CEVO World At War Finals got played out with Qmx destroying x5 in 2 maps. This meant that x5 were forced to play Kawaii in the knockout round and Qmx have to take on Encore. We speculated that this was a strategic move on behalf of x5 but i guess only time can tell. http://www.gamestah.com/file/view/2735 It's the Triple G time baby! That's right guys, it's Left 4 Dead time! OOMPH got beaten by Quattro in an epic match for the OzL4D final! It got played out on the last 3 maps of Blood Harvest, which also sadly sees the departure of OOMPH from the L4D scene. http://www.gamestah.com/file/view/2755 Over at CyberGamer we saw a grand final fitting for the Grand Final. We got everything from pounces to smoke snipes through to Barf Bag Boomers - this is a final you do not want to pass by as the Square Brackets boy went hard out against Frenetic Array's enVy team, and of course the vice versa occurred. Blood Harvest was the perfect scene for the epic match up, and although strategy didn't play too much to both teams, some awesome play did. In association with the Triple G, this was a Glimmering Arse Production. http://www.gamestah.com/file/view/2772 That's all we have time for this week guys so head over to www.gamestah.com and check out our upcoming coverage and put in a request to get your upcoming matches shoutcasted. Not only does GameStah shoutcast online matches, we also provide the following services: * e-Sports Commentary - Online * e-Sports Commentary - Live events * Gaming Events and Management * MC and Event hosting services * Corporate product launch hosting * Video/Audio on demand On behalf of the whole crew at Gamestah GET SOME!! |
