Day 2 live coverage from the World Cyber Games Asian Championships and Singapore National Finals from Sunny Singapore. Gamestah's man on the ground, DeathAdder, brings you the goods with his Asian Perspective.

9:30 AM: Oh no! Just woke up late. Must be because I was up 'till 3AM last night due to the left over adrenaline that WCGAC always promises to bring to the table. Forgot to mention yesterday that I met one of our Kiwi casters yesterday, the only and only Fobski! However, he prefers the nickname Mr. Jack Daniels on most occassions :P . He's representing New Zealand in Fifa '09 so wish him luck (he does have internet access).

Today is going to feature awesome DotA coverage by Toby and the rest of the Gamestah Hogwarts Boys so do tune into that! Also, epic Open Category games such as my favourites Left 4 Dead and Team Fortress 2 will go down today. An epic match that has been predicted to go down in the TF2 final is between -V- Co and H2H. Cheers to my friend Wei Meng aka Matafleur from Singapore eSports newsite Gamesync (www.gamesync.net) for the heads up! The media boys from Malaysia (www.Lowyat.net) are also here. Representing them are Malaysian Guitar Hero World Tour (GH:WT) representative Chapree and Malaysian Fifa Legend Si_Jali are providing coverage for the Malaysian side.

Anyways when in Singapore do not fret! Everything is just a short cab drive away. Seriously.

9:45 AM : That reminds me... I need to GET SOME! breakfast. LOL! :D!

10:02 AM: Almost there. I swear the cab just went past a guy who looks like our resident Glimmer. The guy was cycling with all his pro spandex and water hydration system just like Glimmer!.

10:24 AM: DotA, Sri Lanka go up against Vietnam on stage. Vietnam win with a fast 26 minute winner against Sri Lanka.

10:38 AM: TF2 National Finals ongoing. L4D as well. Stage match coming up. Korea goes up against New Zealand in DotA. The Kiwis are playing a really good early game. Team TitaNs goes up against TwinX on the CS 1.6 front of WCGSG. India goes up against Singapore in DotA. In L4D, A4D goes up against mix team OLZ. OLZ contain local CSS legends R4dEeC and Ulti!ma.

10:49 AM: TF2 matches staggered due to server technical issues.

10:51 AM: TF2 maps: Grannary, Fastline, Badlands, Well. Maximum 1 hour per match.

10:57 AM: TitaNs loud and proud and usual. It's do or die at the National CS 1.6 Finals as it's single elimination on De_Dust2. 8-2 so far, TitaNs lead. However, they seem a bit shaky. Korea is making a comeback against New Zealand in the DotA match. NZ hero lineup: Lion, Morphling, Rhasta, Demon Witch, Sea Giant. Korea: PoTM, Puck, Sand King, Eachantress, Undying.

11:07 AM: Korea are OWNING!

11:09 AM: Avant Garde vs PdM on main stage for L4D on No Mercy. Korea take down all NZ rax. NZ give the GG.

11:10 AM: 13-2 first half of TitaNs match. Titans lead.

11:11 AM : Singapore wins over India DotA. The Indians guys are not too disheartened by it and are immediately watching the demo of the map.

11:13 AM: It seems the technical issues are still ensuing. TF2 players not happy at all. Think an angry mob may break out at any time!

11:37 AM: Rapture is having MAJOR technical issues with their servers. The mainstage L4D match just crashed when things were going epic. People are not happy. The TF2 players have given up and are sleeping at their PCs.

12:00 Noon: Lunch with Asian Fifa Legend Si_Jali. Mmmm... Pasta good.

12:30 PM: Net is back up. Seems servers are fixed.

1:00 PM: Finally Avant Garde match is over.

1:05 PM: TF2 matches have not started. Been delayed since 10 AM.

1:07 PM: Malaysia goes up against Vietnam in DotA. Malaysia: Lion, Tidehunter, Sandking, Rhasta, Morphling. Vietnam: Naix, Doom Bringer, Crystal Maiden and two more heroes I didn't catch.

1:09 PM: Vertex Girls vs Left Forgot in L4D. The girls are doing an awesome job and are kicking arse and taking names.

1:11 PM: NZ goes up against India in DotA. NZ: Chen, Naix, PoTM, CM, Centaur. India: Lich, Venge, Troll, Zeus, Axe.

1:14 PM: On the CS front, Big Ban goes up against Apple Orange. Dust2 the map of choice.

1:20 PM: TF2 finally started. H2H goes up against NfR. H2H run 3 scouts, 1 demo, 1 medic and 1 heavy. Capout blitz on Grannary. Going slower on Badlands though.

1:40 PM : H2H cleans up NfR.

2:51 PM: Avant Garde goes up against A4D in L4D.

2:56 PM: mTx charges it up to go up against Vertex Girls in L4D. Both teams are confident and steady.

3:00 PM: Cosplay event on the main stage at the moment. They're blasting music like crazy and the gamers in the arena are not to happy about it. Let's just hope the anger from the server troubles doesn't pick up or we might be witnessing a John Woo movie in the making.

3:06 PM: PIE to take on NfR in TF2. Seems like the TF2 PCs are having lots of troubles. Crazy Voodoo anyone?

3:10 PM: Singapore Youth Wind Symphony to perform. Finally, some music to my ears!

3:14 PM: Japanese singer performs Final Fantasy Vocals inconjuncture with the symphony.

3:20 PM: The vocals are absolutely mesmerizing and the intriguing piece played by the Youth Symphony makes the hall goes into an eerie quiet except for the occasional crowd going wild over at the Tekken & Street Fighter 4 tournament areas. HADOKEN!

3:35 PM: PIE loses to NfR in the second game of the first round.

3:45 PM: DotA match to happen on stage. Australia vs Indonesia.

3:51 PM: Fastest Geek Competition happening at the Alienware corner. They have to assemble a PC in the quickest time possible. Really sick prizes up for grabs.

4:00 PM: Cassandra from Audio Technica shows me the ropes of the latest noise cancelling headphones. I must say the Quiet Point ATH - ANC7s really do allow you to hear silence anywhere, anytime.

4:53 PM: Ragefaction goes up against XqR on De_Inferno. Not going well for XqR as RF are up 10-2. RF are on CT. HBF goes up against Sixmoves also CS 1.6.

5:00 PM: Big news from RageFaction. They finish the half 13-2.

5:02 PM: Seems there is a controversy building and trouble is brewing in the gaming arena. Seems to be due to DotA. Marshals and players are reviewing demos. Something is amiss.
