You read it right, after a year long break Gamestah's unconventional and unpredictable talk back program is returning to the air on Thursday 28th of May from 9pm!

Now that The Late Shift is back in action, it'll be handy to know how you can participate.  The show is based around the use of Skype (sorry, no Ventrilo at this stage but we may look at it in the future) as this allows us to provide a physical phone number you can call to join in.  If you don't want to fork out for the cost of making a phone call, you'll still be able to get into the action for free by downloading Skype here: http://www.skype.com/intl/en/download/

Once you've fired up Skype and made yourself an account, simply add the user gamestah_late_shift to your contacts list and you're all set to ring in and get yourself on the air.

For those reluctant to install Skype, we have a simple alternative in the form of a Sydney based landline number. If you want to get on air, simply call (02) 8005 6961 during the show and we'll endeavour to get you on. If we're in the middle of a segment and can't get to you right away, don't just hang up, leave a voicemail and we'll play it on air. Also remember that by calling the above number you will incur the standard charges that your telephone service provider charges to call a Sydney based number.

In the meantime here's what you can expect with Episode 10:

The best bits:
A quick visit to the past to some of the best of 2007

AFK'ers - The bane of your existence:
Our very first discussion topic of 2009 and a beauty at that because we know everybody hates them

What would Steven Hawking do?:
Once again we enlist the services of our resident Steven Hawking bot to tackle a controversial topic on the GameArena forums

The chronicles of Dead Barry:
Since the conception of the show, we've been blessed by the mystery and wonder of a telephony portal to the other side (see Episode 1).  After many Ouji sessions and an out of this world connection fee we've managed to bring forth the spirit of Barry and from what we've heard, he's angry.....

DOTA - Just what the hell is it?:
With the help of Gamestah's top DOTA shoutcaster Tobiwankenobi, we will strive to answer that perplexing riddle - just what the hell is DOTA?

Nice!
I remember listening in to one of the old ones, just before I started with Gamestah.

I think it was alf, did a no show, no call, and half the episode was landers bitching about him.

Classic!
