Gaming & Commentary History

I'm a gamer, through and through. I also love the rest of computing as well - I'm working as a programmer, develop all kinds of things and love it. Running clans, organising matches, and jumping into a game seems to be a typical day at the moment here. I've been with Gamestah for a few years now the community aspect is great - the motto "by gamers, for gamers" really applies here, as you should see through the casts that we do. I've been lucky to Cast live events such as the World Cyber Games and eGames, and have witnessed what appears to be a genuine growth in a gaming community - what began as a stereotyped view of pimply kids playing the atari, seems to be currently at the critics themselves wailling away on stage in a Guitar Hero rockdown.

Other things I am keen on is a fine eye for gadgets - if you see me in person, it'll likely be with a scrolling led tag attached to me - as well as areas like podcasting, and graphics and multimedia.

About the Nickname

Back in the day there was a game called Mechwarrior 2, and it was good. Full of good things such as multi story mechs, customization and a rich story set in the future of places ripped apart by war, it was a great way to have fun with a few friends taking turns in the single player missions.
