Gamestah Radio is happy to strengthen it's relationship with the New Zealand gaming scene once again as we introduce ourselves and commentary for the Counterstrike: Source “Online Gaming Competition” currently being run by Sonsee.

On Monday Night, Ej and Tcbburleigh will be bringing you the Upper Bracket Round 3 Finals on de_train. The match is between eminence.nz and ix, both have been undefeated throughout the finals and look to continue that way. The winner of this game will be guaranteed a spot in the Grand Final where they’ll meet the winner of the Lower Brackets, which are currently being played out.

I caught up with eminence. xenrizE and ix. supertech for a few questions.

Tcbburleigh: Thank you for coming on boys. What are your thoughts on the upcoming match?

xenrizE: Coming into the game we are in the underdog position, ix is made up of players from the top two previous NZ teams, newtype/tsw and boneshot, so we don't really have many expectations. Of course we want to win, but we're just going to play our best and see what happens I guess.

Supertech: I'm looking forward to it, the thing is, I don’t really think about it too much, I don’t perceive a loss, all the thinking I need to do for the game will be done in the game. Being on form when the time comes is the only factor that I really concentrate on. We aren't very active, but we have a serious play-style and are confident. With that being said, I really have no perception of eminences skill-level, but regardless, ix will play the same.

Tcbburleigh: Will there be any particular players in the spotlight this match?

xenrizE: Hopefully everyone, but if I had to pick a player, I think Hangman might step it up and get the job done.

Supertech: It's hard to say how individual players will perform on the night, we function as a unit, and everyone does what is required to win.

Tcbburleigh: And my final question aimed towards xenrizE, how will new recruit sap perform?

xenrizE: Not giving away too much, but Sap is holding a position that he hasn't played before so it will be interesting to see if he can hold his place effectively.
