In the biggest news to come out of the hardware scene in years, Its been reported that AMD have brought ATi for a reported $5.5 billion US "Advanced Micro Devices, the No. 2 supplier of computer processors, is close to a deal to buy graphics chip maker ATI for $5.5 billion, a source familiar with the situation said on Friday. Personally, I think this is great stuff.. While the AMD/Nvidia deal will be broken, it shouldnt matter with the resources this mega company will have it should be fantastic to see what comes out, and what Nvidia/Intel do about it |

We should see some great things come from this. If nothing else it should allow future AMD users to get more out of their ATi cards. Oh noes, i have an intel, ATi combo :( |
