Starting almost 12 weeks ago, the Playtech sponsored GameVault Sabotage tournament has evolved to be a fast action, furiously paced affair, and based on the games the two finalists played to get to this stage, it is guaranteed to continue! Both teams joined the tournament in the same pool, and in their first encounter Uprising won 5-0, albeit with a man missing from the Envy side for the night - Broadcast hosted that encounter. Then the two met again in the finals series on Chinatown, where Envy took that match out (5-3)meaning they only had to take down the challenge from NwA (5-2) to get their final berth, while Uprising had to take on both 28th Maori Battalion (5-4) and velox (5-1) to gain their final spot. The prizes up for grabs (thanks to www.playtech.co.nz) are well worth it, as the winners will take home an XFX Superclocked 9600GT Graphics Card, and the title of Sabotage Tournament winners. So make sure you join the action on Monday night as these two teams battle in a best of three maps for the top honours. |
