Less than 36 hours after returning from the World Cyber Games 2008 New Zealand Qualifiers, Gamestah is proud to announce a new online partnership with New Zealand based Gamevault. Gamevault is a growing gaming community in New Zealand and in association with PlayTech is running a major Call of Duty 4 Tournament. This partnership will allow Gamestah to establish a regular presence in the New Zealand gaming community whilst at the same time supporting a professionally run tournament. Call of Duty 4 will serve as the foundation however it is expected in the future this will expand to include other games. One of the key benefits is the opportunity to provide local coverage for Gamestah's existing New Zealand based esports commentators as well as introduce new commentators to the team. Gamestah's coverage will start on Wednesday 16th July with the presentation of the match between sila and NAKI. This will be both teams first match in the 5v5 Sabotage Tournament. sila is still coming of a big high having won the World Cyber Games 2008 New Zealand Exhibition Match for Call of Duty 4 on the weekend. The Playtech sponsored GameVault 5v5 Sabotage Tournament comprises 3 pools of 9 teams playing off over $2,300 in prizes and sponsorship. As sponsor, Playtech is supporting the CoD4 gaming community. They have pulled together a fantastic offering of prizes with these going to the top 3 finishers as follows:
In addition to these prizes, GameVault will award the winning teams with:
Gamestah esports commentators MomoWang and TobiWanKenobi together with GameVault Managing Director Arseynimz at the World Cyber Gamers 2008 New Zealand Qualifier
New Zealands top COD4 team sila on the main stage receiving their prizes at the World Cyber Games 2008 New Zealand Qualifier
