The Gamestah team have landed at the Bunker in Brisbane for today's CounterStrike 12-team Jonpro E-lympics tournament. We'll be bringing you updates throughout the day with all the results and action from some of Australia's best CounterStrike teams. The Bunker has setup Half-Life TV to be running on: 125.214.64.21 with the ports being 27020, 27025, 27030 or 27035. The complete results can be seen in the Tournament bracket at http://www.bracketmaker.com/tmenu.cfm?tid=277532&tclass

1930 Update: Well, it's all over. Alias wins the Grand Final defeating EYA 16-8 on nuke. Twas a long day and lots of hardcore action. Congrats to Jonpro and all the teams who participated in this excellent event. Until we get home and start processing all the video interviews and shoutcasts, this is your Gamestah broadcasters (and ad-hoc news reporters) MomoWang and Depz signing off.

1850 Update: No update really. No time. Alias bitch slapped EYA in the first Grand Final on inferno, score 16-5 with fnx reaping 19 frags in the first half.

1800 Update: Firstly, Depz and I are getting bloody hungry !!! Secondly, he Prelim Final is now complete. It was Alias vs NME on train. We expected a close hard battle, unfortunately it just didn't turn out that way. In a crushing performance Alias dominated in the start, middle and end to win 16-5. Alias now move into the Grand Final to play against EYA. They played not two hours ago and EYA won 16-11 on nuke. This time, it's on inferno. EYA won the toss and selected CT - who will win is anyones guess. Today has been full of upsets and surprises.

1715 Update: Another match gone and it decided who would meet Alias in the Preliminary Final. Two strong teams in NME and A-Gamers met on dust to battle it out.  It was a massive start by the A-Gamers who lead out with a 3-0 lead. This was the extent of their domination and cash advantage as NME in the form of zone hit back. It was only five rounds in when zone racked up a score of 12-4. Going into the half the score was nice and tight at 8-7 (despite the fact we thought it was 9-6) which NME in front. In the second half GOD descended from Heaven in the form of uhohh and in his hands was the eternal dak-dak. He graced dust with his brillance for a few rounds and go so cocky he decided to launch himself on a knife raid, only to be struck down after two steps. The pace of NME was frantic and they continued to push the issue with pure agression coming up 8-2 in the second half - winning 16-9.

1620 Update: A big big match has just finished. It was the semi-final from the winners bracket where the undefeated teams of EYA and Alias went head-to-head. Alias had defeated Shuffz 22-19 in triple overtime on inferno and then Wuxia 16-12 on train to get to this match. EYA had a longer run to the match as they didn't get the bye first up. The defeated misc 16-2 on dust, mYm 16-9 on inferno and then NME 19-17 in OT on train. So for this semi-final we head to nuke. Alias started as CT and with fnx providing a dominating performance with a frag count of 20-9 he lead Alias to a half-time lead 9-6. After the break however, EYA came out steaming. They charged out to a 6-0 lead before Alias were able to get their first round on the board. Whilst fnx carved it up in the first half, this time it was all powmi. He picked up 17-5 score to deliver a stunning come back for EYA. The telling story for Alias in the second half was the lock down they suffered at the hands of EYA - not a single Alias player got double figure kills. The second half went 10-2 giving EYA the win and Grand Final slot finishing with the scoreboard showing 16-11.

1500 Update: A good match between Shuffz and iDOGGED has just finshed. The first match on nuke saw Shuffz charged out to a good lead and go into the break leading 10-5. In the second half, some epic clutches and picks from Metropolis enabled Shuffz to stay in the tournament running away victors 16-7.

1415 Update: A quick update with some massive over-time action. Firstly Alias were up against Shuffz. Triple overtime and it was Alias 22-19. Then in the other match, a grudge match between EYA and NME. EYA beat them at WCG Autumn Cup to get into the final and NME were looking for revenge. A flash bug cause chaos and after a restart and cash from the back they went at it again. The result pushed them to OT and it was EYA who delivered the goods and came away with the win 19-17.

1325 Update: We joined the A-Gamers for another exiciting match, this time against ATP. ATP came into the match having lost to Shuffz 16-11 on dust. Early in the match they came up against the AWP of Llyod Banks who dominated early on delivering 2-3 frags round after round. In the first half it was all agreession from the A-Gamers. Nothing special, just strong agreesive pushes first into the B site, then to the A site. They had control of the map and walked into the half-time break up 11-4. Highlights from the second half have to be itna getting knifed twice and a stunning performance from 'leet homo happy face guy' (real name unknown). Big mention to aspire who pulled off some great picks for ATP however at the end of the match it was A-Gamers winning 16-9. A-Gamers stay in the action and move into the next round whilst ATP are on their way to Hungry Jacks.

In the background, Shuffz is going up against Alias and are into double-overtime. An epic battle we'll report on soon. Also a quick update that HLTV will not be making an appearance today.

1230 Update: Another match, another cast complete. The second round match between NME and A-Gamers promised a lot and in the first half half it certain lived up to expectations. The highly regarded uhohh from NME stamped his authority and skill on QLD CS gaming by kicking off the round of the match with a huge 4 frag performance. Having done his job he went back to bench and DickyJustice took over. The first half was very close all the way however a good come back from NME to win the last two rounds enabled them to go into the half-time break leading A-Gamers 8-7. After what seemed like an enternity, turned out to be uhohh having a ciggy break, the second half got under way. This half was where we saw NME demonstrate their dominance. An 8-1 push saw them walk away with the match in the end with the score 16-8 on inferno. NME move through to the third round where they will face EYA in a big grudge match. It was EYA who defeated NME in the Semi-Final of the WCG QLD Autumn Cup to keep them out of the Grand Final match with Team Immunity. For the A-Gamers, they drop to the losers bracket where they will take on ATP. One team gets to stay alive, the other gets an early date with the chick behind the Hungry Jacks. This is the match we'll be covering next.

Also a massive shoutout to the team from Magical. Despite the fact these guys are already out of the tournament, they donned the hoods and lined -up for a video interview - the first of the day. Whilst the sound will probably include 95% of the Bunker going on behind the scenes, the team gave an 'interesting' insight into what makes up Team Magical.

1125 Update: Second shoutcast complete and this time it was EYA defeating mYm on Inferno. Marshall from EYA dominated the first half with a 24-9 frag count and leading the team into the half-time break with a score of 10-5. He did the same again in the second half where the rounds were going head-to-head. However Marshall in an obvious man of the match performance delivered the goods again and helped EYA to 3 straights rounds giving them the 16-9 win.

The next match coming up is another second round match between NME and A-Gamers. NME called heads, won the toss and will be taking CT for the start. Both teams highly favoured to go all the way and both playing their first match after having a bye in the first round.

1040 Update: Jonpro and the event management committee are aware that the HLTV is currently not available. They are working on the problem to get it fixed asap.

1020 Update: First shoutcast complete and it was a win to Wuxia 16-7 over Next Generation. Wuxia pwned it up as Ts in the first round pushing out to a massive 14-1 lead with player of the half definitely being Fredrik amassing a whopping 21 kills. In the second half though, FastenYourSeatBelts from Next Generation turned up the heat and delivered Next Generation a 6-0 start in what looked like an epic comeback. The White Dragon Knight for Wuxia struggled in every way possible but in the 8th round decided to make a contribution and delivered some key picks to secure the second round of the half for Wuxia and give them the win. Next match coming up is EYA vs mYm.

Next match coming up is EYA vs mYm on inferno. EYA called heads and thanks to Jonpro they won the toss. What the actually tossed is still unclear however EYA are starting as CTs.

0930 Update: The first matches are about to go live in about 5-10 minutes. The one we are going to covers is Wuxia going up against Next Generation. Dust is the battle ground and Wuxia will be starting as the Ts after winning the toss. Wuxia are rating themselves very highly at the start of the day. PeetyG predicted that if they were CT the score might be 16-10, however since they are going Ts first up, the word is 16-1 or 16-2 is a likely result. Big words from the big man who had a huge Saturday night and slept in his driveway having never made it in the door.

0900 Update: Some dodgy looking characters have arrived at the Bunker after a big Saturday night. Tournament organiser Jonpro was here bright and early fired up for an epic day. Two teams pulled out very late from the event last night meaning the double-elimination tournament is now down to 12. Teams that are already here include Next Generation, Shuffz, Wuxia, ATP, misc, Magical, iDOGGED. Still hungover and missing in action is NME, A-Gamers, mYm and EYA.
