On Monday night's show: Will Wright - That's right, the designer of Sim City, Sim Ant, The Sims, and currently working on Spore is on GG. Famous for giving players the tools to create their own narrative, and one of the few talents professionally recognised outside of the gaming industry. Army of Two - This one made a lot of noise at E3 with it's promise of unique co-op gameplay, dark humour and deep political message. Hype around it has quietened somewhat though, will it live up to expectations? Advance Wars: Dark Conflict (Days of Ruin) - The latest in the turn-based tactical series on the DS is far darker and grimmer than its predecessors. Well...about as dark and grim as you can get with pixelated toy soldiers and super-long, super-cute Japanese dialogue... All that plus a compilation of advice from talent at the GDC on how to come up with your own idea for a game, and submit it to the Good Game Game competition. You can download any ep of Good Game from www.abc.net.au/goodgame - our forums still suck but they give you the power to change Australia's only show exclusively about games! Good Game airs Monday nights @ 9pm on ABC2, and late Friday nights after jjjTV on ABC1. Enjoy the show! |
