Tournament organisers throughout the region have heard the call of duty, with the CyberGamer Open League going from strength to strength, as the most competitive and more social gamers alike have swarmed the region's first large-scale competition. GameArena has responded to the call with its own ladder for CoD 4, which is currently in freeplay. Like CyberGamer, GA will be running a 5v5 S&D competition, but the settings have caused animated debate amongst gamers. TWL has also created a 5v5 S&D competition, but it's been received with considerably less interest than the CG and GA offerings. GamingSA decided to offer something different, with a 6v6 Sabotage tournament which started earlier this month. However, the petition for a GA Domination ladder - started by Gamestah's very own Kitfox - has fallen on deaf ears so far. It's an exciting time for the community, with numerous options for those looking for CoD 4 competition play. Remember, you can browse our library of Call of Duty 4 casts here. |
