The eGames & Entertainment Expo is back in '07, and once again Gamestah will again be in the thick of things within the Intel-sponsored eSports Zone! Kicking off today from noon, eGames will run until Sunday at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre. Visitors will have a chance to listen to keynote speeches, browse exhibits, and get hands on with some new and yet-to-be-released games like Crysis and Assassin's Creed. Gamestah will be joining Team Immunity - an Australian pro gaming team - to bring visitors a taste of competitive gaming at the eSports Zone. Our very own Ej, BoB, and Glimmer will be behind the mic over the weekend, as gamers try their hand in competition for popular games including CS, TF2, and WiC. Team iM will also be showing off their skills and discussing strategy and tips for various titles, which should be a cracker. We'll also have a presence in the Dissecta industry panel on multiplayer gaming, which will be co-hosted by Ej and feature Gamestah's Rogue as a panelist. The eGames Expo will also have a wide array of exhibitors from the big names in the gaming world like Sony, Nintendo, Microsoft, Intel, and EA. For those interested in a career in game design and new media, public and private education providers will be on hand with information about their courses, and how to crack into the industry. There will also be plenty of bargains and prizes up for grabs, so come down to the eGames Expo - and swing by the eSports Zone to say hi! |
