Well, I do believe this week's episode of The Late Shift was very unique in that we never actually talked about any of the topics we originally posted. We threw out all script, all planned events, and went with the flow as we had Dead Barry came on to give his view on The Orange Box and then his best mate from the world of the living, Ej, basically stole the show from our 2 unlucky hosts. Ej was embroiled in a vicious Team Fortress 2 battle, which Landers later encouraged people to join so they could pwn Ej, and Ej was giving us to-the-second updates of his progress, with alerts such as "Someone has a laser aimed up my ass" and "I just got cracked in the skull by a baseball bat". He definitely peppered the show with the humour only Ej can get away with. Our most influential and suprising guests (suprising that they would show up in such a budget show as this one) tonight were of course Janet "Syd" Carr and Jeremy "Junglist" Ray who are the series producer and co-host from ABC's hit gaming show Good Game, respectively, and they stuck with us all throughout the show giving us their opinions on the topics we managed to get through Ej's tirade, and even giving us a little insight into some of the recent escapades of the Good Game crew (and of course, giving us a little bit of star power ). Ej tried valiantly but foolishly to swoon Syd, which may have forced Ej to become married to Team Fortress 2. They have promised they will be back in future episodes, so obviously Ej hasn't scared them off and we hope to see them back to give us their views on our hard-hitting topics. We also had some call-ins from other people such as resident Gamestah man dmj, as well as one unlucky fellow called mcurtisg, who when trying to deliver a shoutout to his clan mates, was rudely interupted by his mother and was cut short. Whilst we felt sorry for him, we couldn't help but laugh. As always, our call-in listeners gave us plenty of insight to some of our topics and gave us another look and some events which are happening. So, whilst this week may not have been overly informative as previous weeks in that we only delivered pretty much the Ausgamers news of the Week, it surely was the most character-building episode we've ever delivered, and we highly suggest you download and listen to it for a good laugh. Thank you to all who got involved this week, and if you haven't called up yet, you're weak , call up and be a man. Download: The Late Shift - Episode 4 - What makes a Good Game
