According to the official website ET:QW will have 60,000 slots available for people to play the beta, so they can test combinations of peoples hardware specifics on the game engine. There is one map 'Sewer' which is apparently a well balanced Strogg base, a mix on indoors and outdoors, vehicles and infantry. Everything a good FPS needs.
