It's nice to see a developer making good on their pledge to support the community that supports them. Earlier today the Official ETQW Community Site was launched to the world. It's the place to visit for the inside scoop on ETQW news, views and media, but the site isn't designed as the be-all and end-all of ETQW sites. The aim is to provide a hub for the community, featuring the cool stuff going on at the multitude of ETQW community & fansites around the globe. Splash Damage's badman had this to say - "We'll be working closely with fan site leaders, tournament administrators and the like to make sure they've got everything they need to realize the things they want to do in their local ETQW communities." Already we've heard that zinx, the man behind ETTV, has been working on ETQWTV. It's great that he's been given access to game code before it's even released, and gives great hope that Splash Damage will be true to their word with regards supporting the community. I'm sure there's more good news to come for ETQW fans, so check out the community site at http://community.enemyterritory.com/ |
