The Gamestah site has been in the design shed for a few months now, during this time we've worked on making the features of the old site better, and also some new features have been added to the new site. New Features File Library The much-requested File Library is here! Files will be added to the file library all the time, seperated by easy-to-understand categories so you can know exactly what you are looking for. Our back-log of files will be added very shortly. Revamped News System The news system from the old site is gone, replaced with a new one which allows us to do much more, such as seperating articles into pages, advanced formatting etc. You also get a print view if you wish to print out our articles. Comments are enabled for news items, and the author of the news article has control over whether visitors can post comments on their news article or not. You must be registered to post comments. Forums The forums have been up for a little while, but I had to put them as a new feature for this site, because there was never a forum on the old site Upcoming Features Features that have not yet been implemented but will be coming shortly. Profile System We're already in the works for a profile system much like the one on the old site, but of course improved upon. This will replace the forum profile system User-Submitted Files and News In the future users will be allowed to submit their own news articles and files and after being checked, may be allowed on the Gamestah site. If you have news you would like to tell the games communities, this will allow you to do that with a minimum of fuss. and a few suprises will be in store as well.. |
