Gamestah: How do you feel the first season of GGi went as a whole? Are there any aspects you'll be looking to improve/change next season?

Hybrid: Overall, I'm stoked, it was a huge success. I knew that there was a huge source community out there and I think everyone underestimated it. The GG-i has brought the best players in Australia and New Zealand all together and seen the best 4 teams emerge. New Type, F4F, Imminent and Encore

Gamestah: Do you feel it helped the Australian community progress as a whole? In what ways?

Hybrid: I think everyone would agree, it has brought the community together and as a result made several small communities into one big community. Its now much easier to get a war, its much easier to get help and its much easier to get your Source News, Articles and discussion.

Gamestah: Will you be completely reassessing the teams competing next season? Or will it stay much the same with a few changes depending on the results of OGN and another wildcard comp?

Hybrid: Yeah, we will be looking at the teams currently in all of the competitions and making a decision based on as many results as possible. Very shortly we will be announcing a shortlist and will be letting them have access to the GG servers to play each other to help the admins decide on which teams to decide upon.

Gamestah: Do you consider the people competing in the league being the same people refereeing the league a "conflict of interest"? If so, do you plan to address this next season?

Hybrid: No because at the end of the day the referees don't have a major impact on the game because all they really do is control the game and make decisions based on the ruleset. They are not allowed to make major decisions as these are left up to the admins also remember that SourceTV is always recorded and can always be reviewed.

Gamestah: There has been talk of the competition not being as well organised and executed as people would have liked, do you plan to address this? More staff etc.?

Hybrid: Well to be honest, we made some mistakes but if you look at the overall picture, it actually ran very smoothly. Next season sees sponsors on board so we will have to pick it up another gear because the prizes are only getting better.

Gamestah: The attitudes of some teams towards the competition this season has been frowned upon, are you looking at measures to prevent teams from degrading the quality of the competition?

Hybrid: Definitely, name changes are basically a thing of the past. Obviously though we are going to have to tow a stricter line this season because the bottom line is that any team that participates in this competition should feel lucky considering the prizes that will be on offer.

Gamestah: WIll you be reconsidering GotGames' sponsorship of competing teams?

Hybrid: well I take transparency very serious so that is why I have always declared who I am sponsoring such as GT and Encore. Most people hide behind another shell and do what I did yet I was the one that received the most criticism. Encore have been a great GotGames supporter and of course I am going to continue sponsoring GT. I think are a few naive teams out there who just think its all about performance and dont understand the concept of Return on Investment

Gamestah: Are there any plans to hold an intermediate or "open" competition in the near future? If yes, can you provide some insight as to what we (the community) might expect?

Hybrid: definitely, GotGames is looking to do this shortly, I want to get it right. It will be used as a feeder for the invite league Smile

Gamestah: Finally, do you have any predictions regarding the outcome of this first GotGames invite season?

Hybrid: Well it will be hard to go past Imminent as we know they can do it on lan. F4F were also awesome at the GG lan and cant be written off either and you would be a fool to not think New Type aren't going to give it a go. Encore can match it with the best of them, one can never forget the tegs factor! All in all, it will be awesome to watch.

Gamestah : Thanks for your time.
