What are the Gamestah MVP Awards?

(Just looking for the Winners? Jump to here)

Gamestah wants to encourage players to show off their skills on Gamestah TV streams! If your match is broadcast live on a Gamestah TV stream (either on GTV1, GTV2 or GTV3) then you are in the running for a Gamestah MVP Award.  The award includes $20 credit related to the game you’re playing. For example, if you’re playing a Steam game like Rocket League or CSGO, the Award includes $20 steam credit, if it’s League of Legends, $20 Riot Points, etc.

How do I win a Gamestah MVP Award?

  1. Make sure you match is going to be broadcast on a GTV stream. The best way to organize this is to request a Gamestah Broadcast here on Gamestah.com
  2. Play in a match on a GTV stream!
  3. Be the Most Valued Player
  4. Profit!

How is the Gamestah MVP Award chosen?

  1. Each match that is streamed during a broadcast will have an MVP nominated. The casters will decide the MVP nomination based on game-play and on nominations from Twitch chat. As a viewer you have a say so make sure you nominate who you think should get an MVP (and tell us why)!
  2. At the end of the evening’s broadcast, all the match MVPs for the night are added to a poll in Twitch chat. Voting for the MVP is open to everyone that is in Twitch chat, and runs for two minutes. At the end of the two minutes, the player with the most votes is awarded the Gamestah MVP Award.

What do I do if I win a Gamestah MVP Award?

Gamestah sends your Gamestah MVP Award by snail mail so we need:

  1. Your real name
  2. Your postal address

To do this, you need to add Chrisis to your friends list using the account that has won the MVP Award. This is to help us properly identify you and to ensure that the Gamestah MVP Award gets sent to the right person.

What do I do if I haven’t received my Gamestah MVP Award?

We try to get the Gamestah MVP Award sent out to winners within a week of the broadcast. However, sometimes things take a little longer:

  1. Give it time.  Snail mail is called that because it’s slow. The MVP Awards are sent from Christchurch, New Zealand by Airmail so they have quite the distance to travel!
  2. If it’s been more than a couple of weeks since you’ve won the award and you still haven’t received it, contact Chrisis to let him know. He’ll probably make some excuse because he can be a real slacker sometimes, so reminding him is a good thing!

But Wait, There’s More!

You can put your name in the draw to win an additional $20 from Gamestah by taking a selfie with the Gamestah MVP Award when you receive it, and either tweeting it @gamestah on twitter or posting it to Gamestah on Facebook!
